Monkey Clone 2
"This was a later model (2007) Bonnie, called “Monkey Clone 2”, (Somewhat of a replica of the bike I built for Artic Monkeys' drummer, Matthew Helder), with upside down Yamaha forks, Mule hubs and 19” Sun rims, Mule seat kit, Streetmaster hydraulic clutch cover conversion and lots of motor work. The capacity has been increased to 904cc, headwork has been dome, revised cams fitted, plus billet intake manifolds. Also, this bike has FCR 39mm carbs, a new ignition unit and my standard stainless exhaust which fits tightly to the engine thanks to the Mule oil cooler kit allowing the removal of the lower frame rails.
"The tail section of the exhaust kicks up at a more pronounced angle with a DMC aluminium (Intended for a Quad) can, shortened about 6-inches. "This is the best running, most crisply jetted Triumph I’ve ever ridden. It is awesome to ride! "The owner is in the land development business and in fact is one of the top road bicycle racers in the San Diego area."
