The '38 Speed Twin. The '39 Tiger 100. The '49 Thunderbird. The '59 Bonnie. The '68 Trident. The humble Tiger Cub. The class-leading Speed Triple. Or the mighty Rocket Three.

We could have placed an image of any of these great motorcycles on our new Triumph Mechanic Workshirt, and we would've been happy. But as you can see, we had to make a choice, so we opted for the '59 Bonneville.

Why? Because the Bonnie is the machine that really made the world sit up and pay attention (even though the Edward Turner designed Speed Twin—by way of Val Page's Model 6/1—got the wheels rolling).

So okay, for all its kudos the '59 Bonnie wasn't actually that great a motorcycle, not when compared to others in the stable. But it wasn't scrap iron either, and the '59 (like the '38 Speed Twin) arrived at exactly the right moment and somehow caught a wave that's still rolling more than half a century later. And if you ask the world which Triumph is the greatest of 'em all, most folk will cry "BONNEVILLE!"

These Mechanic workshirts are quality items reinforced in all the important places. They're printed on the back only, and the process we use will last the life of the shirt—and when you've worn it to death, it'll probably look good framed and hung on the garage wall.

Most of all, we think these workshirts are good value for money—and anything we sell at Sump, we also wear. Remember that if you will.

Take note that the fit is tighter rather than looser. So size-up rather than down. Sizes are SMALL to 4XL. The colour is Bible black, but we've lightened it a little to clarify the image.

Note that we're printing these to order for the time being whilst we rationalise our new range of workshirts and figure out the demand. But we can usually get them to you within a week, and sometimes just a few days.

The bottom line? These are nice, unfussy, practical, fun shirts for guys (and possibly gals) who want decent value, hard-wearing clobber delivered to their door. Can't say fairer than that, can we?
