The Dig For Victory Show

This is a 1940s themed family festival. The show’s main arena will feature military vehicle parades, combat training, re-enactments and artillery firing demonstrations. Romney Marsh Classic Motorcycle Show

This large classic bike show will feature pre-1990 motorcycle displays and club stands. A good sized bike jumble (both outside and under cover) will take place. Big Bike Sunday 2017

The Girder Fork and Classic Motorcycle Club are inviting owners of all types of classic and modern motorcycles—whether they’re 50cc mopeds or car engine powered trikes—to their Big Bike Sunday. The organiser says that last year the event had over 100 motorbikes on display, covering 100 years of motorcycle manufacture, and raised over £4,800 for charity. The club’s chosen charities for this year's event are Manorlands Hospice, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and Blood Bikes. The event will have “Best in Class” and “Best in Show” competitions, stalls and refreshments. If the weather is inclement, the event will take place under cover.
Open: The show opens at 12 noon. The prize presentations will take place at around 3pm. Please note that exhibition bikes will need to be in place by 11.30am.

We don't know what's going on with this event. Certainly, we've had no official notification or details. The new promoters are North One Television. This company produces TV shows such as Fifth Gear, Storage Hunters, Travel Man and the Gadget Show. They're also heavily involved in screening Guy Martin's various suicidal projects. The date seems confirmed, but that's all we've heard—and given that we've got one of the biggest motorcycle events listings on the planet, North One needs to get its act together if it wants to draw a crowd. War & Peace Revival

Expect hundreds if not thousands of military vehicles (including motorcycles, jeeps, tanks, field guns, military engineering equipment); an army of re-enactors; trade stalls; 1940s-themed displays; a model village; living history displays; 1940s dancing; DJ Gypsy John & Retro Rosie, and much more. This is touted as the biggest gathering of military vehicles in the world (outside of a war zone and the North/South Korean border, presumably).
Dogs are welcome, but only one mutt per person, please. No drones are permitted on site. Check with the organisers for the latest on camping availability. A shuttle bus will be provided for connections between Paddock Wood Railway Station and the showground. Note that there's some confusion about the detail of the show, so we strongly recommend that you check everything here and satisfy yourself about exactly what's on offer.

This show seems to have it all; there will be displays of steam engines; vintage and classic cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, industrial trucks and caravans; military vehicles; American classic cars; a large classic motorcycle section with a pronised 230 bikes on show. Exhibits will also include miniature steam engines and model engineering displays, bicycles, a countryside life section, craft stalls, vintage fun fair, and trade stalls. A dog show will also take place. At the live arena will be non-stop vehicle demonstrations, live music, an Lindy Hop dancing. Watch out for an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota buzzing overhead. Free vintage bus rides will be available. This event is staged by the Stroud Vintage Transport & Engine Club (SVTEC). Brighton Speed Trials 2016

Madeira Drive, Brighton, West Sussex.
This long-established sprint is a fantastic event for all, whether competitor, spectator or general motor-sport enthusiast. For one day, genteel Madeira Drive on the Brighton beach front will be turned into a drag-strip where you can both mingle amongst the high performance racing machines and sample the action at close quarters. The Brighton Speed Trials include everything from vintage and classic motorcycles and cars to the most up-to-date machines. The event is organised by the Brighton & Hove Motor Club. Motorcycle competitors can enter the trials with the Sprint Section of VMCC.
Signing on starts at 7.30am, practice begins at 9am and
the trials start at 11.30am.
Spectator admission is free from the street. But there is a fee to enter the paddock (£15 on the day or £12 in advance).
