Cafe racer rival for Triumph Thruxton
Huddersfield-based Kawasaki dealer, Earnshaws, has released details of its new cafe racer creation based upon the popular Kawasaki W800. The dealership has also revealed a new in-house street trials machine.
As far as we can tell, the modifications are largely cosmetic and involve changes to the pipes and bars.

Earnshaws, which is currently fielding the bikes on eBay, is also offering the machines at trade prices to dealers (whether interested parties are also Kawasaki dealers or not). The suggested recommended retail prices are around £8,500 for the trail version, and around £8,000 for the cafe racer. The bikes are "pre-registered" and will be supplied with original components.
At Sump, we're long time Kawasaki W650 and W800 fans, and we can see a few potential Triumph buyers wavering over these. But Triumph is also fielding a good range of general bikes and classics for 2014. So keep that in mind. [more on the Kawasaki W800 2011] — Del Monte
