For sale: 1964 BSA C15T - £2,850
Sounds like a lot for a BSA C15? Well normally we'd probably agree. Except that this is a C15T and it's a lot rarer. This 1964 250cc single is offered at very close to standard specification, right down to the 20-inch front wheel (as opposed to a 21-incher).
It has the later works-type frame with the tucked in exhaust, runs well, and would maybe suit a collector or, at least, someone who'll appreciate it for what it is.
The bike belongs to one of the guys here on Sump, and it starts easily and runs well. It's not yet registered, so you'll have to sort that out if you want to put it on the street. After that it will be tax free, but not MOT free.
£2850 is the price, and there's maybe a little haggling space in there if you're serious. Might be able to arrange UK delivery too for the cost of fuel if the sale price is right.
Overall, it's a great little bike for bimbling around town or exploring those quiet country lanes. The handling is good. The brakes are not superlative, but good enough. You won't break a leg firing it up. And it's a very pretty machine.

UPDATE: This bike has since been sold.
