VMCC Hewing:
jumped or pushed?
He was nine years in the role of CEO of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. Now it's over and James Hewing is "stepping down".
In the press release we received, Hewing says that he "wants to spend more time with his family", which is usually code for getting the push.
But he tells us that the "difficult decision" is his, so we're going to take him at his word—and that fishy odour we can smell is probably just the sardines we had for dinner tonight.
Hewing says that he'll be departing on the 31st December 2013, and that a new management structure based around the club's elected directors will take over. Hmm.
Cue sardine smell, and good luck to James in whatever he gets up to next.
