Monstercraft Brat Kit for XS650 Yams

We clocked this guy on ebay tonight (18th November 2013) and were impressed enough by what we saw to find a space for him on Sump (we like to see people get ahead, you understand).

His weld-on frame kit retails on ebay for $199 and is designed to transform your stock XS650 Yamaha into a pretty cool looking bob-job at a budget price by relocating those stock shock absorbers and offering a new seat base.

But this doesn't look like any cheap and nasty kit. As far as we can tell, the guy has got it sorted and has done pretty much all the hard stuff except for the welding.

More specifically, we liked the accompanying YouTube instructional video detailing pretty much all you need to know about handling the transformation. Nice scripting. Straightforward delivery. Clear. Concise. We just wish all frame builders/fabricators were as good at this.

Hell, if we ran an XS650 Yam, we'd be in the market for this. But we're mostly Triumph and BSA guys and girls, so we're sitting this one out.

But if you're running a Yam 650 twin, take a look at his ebay site. In fact, take a look anyway because he's got a lot of other stuff in his online shop that would suit many other custom builders and riders.

His ebay name is monstercraftsman1. Or just visit his website. When it comes to a decent looking product well presented and offered at a good price, this guy's got it sorted. Mucho respect, and all that.
