Suzuki's angular warning12th November 2015 ABS | Braking | 2016 | Bandit | Skidding ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY►
We were scrolling through Suzuki's website studying the details of the 2016 Bandit 1250S ABS when we came across this warning. Can't remember ever seeing this from another manufacturer. But then, we don't get out too much anymore. Here's the text: "Depending on road surface conditions, such as wet, loose, or uneven roads, braking distance for an ABS-equipped vehicle may be longer than for a vehicle not equipped with ABS. ABS cannot prevent wheel skidding caused by braking while cornering. Please ride carefully and do not overly rely on ABS."
Sound advice, and maybe it ought to be printed on the side of every packet. Meanwhile, the new Bandit is looking as good as ever. And God only knows how Suzuki needs a sales boost... ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY► |
