Bell manufactures the Star crash helmet. 360fly manufactures a 360-degree camera. Put them together and you have the Bell Star 360fly. The lid is fitted with a 4K video camera that will capture all the action around you. The camera is also Bluetooth compatible and Wi-Fi equipped, so you can record your antics on the move (and the antics of everyone else in the frame) and then stream that to your home computer or store it on the cloud.

And if you want more than that, you can enjoy an in-built accelerometer, barometer and altimeter. And one final thing. The on-board computer is likely to feature an algorithm that will warn the rider of an imminent collision.

And the price? No details have been given. So just think of a big number and double it. Meanwhile, we wait with interest to discover how many extra grams, or kilos, this thing totes.
