Buffalo Navigator jacket12th March 2016 Leather jacket | Navigator | Biker jacket | Retro ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY►
The Buffalo classic leather jacket is back. We didn't actually know it had gone anywhere, and to tell the truth, we didn't even know what it was. It had just slipped beneath our radar. But the main thing is that it's back. So if you've been missing it, dry your eyes. This one (we assume there are other's in the range) is called the Navigator. It's made from "natural milled leather" (whatever that is), so it's "soft and flexible, yet retains the inherent strength of the hide." We're also told that it's got "timeless appearance, with subtle touches like vintage-style zips and stud fasteners" and that it will suit riders of classic bikes or retro machines. There's a detachable thermal quilted liner, and there are armoured shoulders and elbows. Some things, however, are like toothbrushes. Meaning that the way they look is neither here nor there, which is pretty much how we feel about this jacket. In other words, the styling simply fails to light up anything around here. But that could be simply because at Sump we're all as ugly as Kermit the Frog, and we figure these kind of jackets can only be worn by cool looking dudes like the late Lewis Collins, or Pierce Brosnan or Robert Downey Jnr. So if you fit that general profile, this Navigator jacket might just be your thing. If not, stick with the common or garden variety Brando style jacket. Works for us. The Navigator fits chest sizes 40” - 50”, and it retails for £149.99. www.thekeycollection.co.uk ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY► | MOTORCYCLE NEWS - LATEST!!
