So okay, none of this stuff is exactly sexy. But like a condom, when you need it, you'll be glad you had the foresight to have it stashed away somewhere on your bike or in your rucksack. These Nucleus overboots and overgloves are from Buffalo, and they're new stuff. Designed for folk who want to wear summer footwear rather than winter all-weather, full-on boots or wellies, these wet weather repellents are made from PU-backed polyester (whatever that is), and they're said to be windproof and rainproof (and in case you've just arrived from Mars or somewhere equally unlikely, you wear these things over your existing footwear and handwear and they're not edible). 
They roll up pretty small, we hear. And the boots have a partial rubber sole (and we're always partial to a little rubber, you know?). And the gloves have rubber grips as well, and those could come in handy too (if you know what we mean). There's some elastic and reflective stripes and stuff. The overglove sizes are S/M to L/XL and cost £14.99. The overboots are S to XL, and cost £19.99. You might hate 'em. But think of your pillion if not yourself. Sitting on the back of a motorcycle ain't much fun, and having to do it soaking wet are grounds for murder.
