Note, if you will, that our heading is highly speculative. There's no suggestion from the government that the paper tax disc could be reintroduced.

 

However, since its abolition in October 2014, the UK treasury has "lost" £80million; that's £45million more than it was losing a few years ago. There was actually supposed to be a £10million saving. But the numbers are simply headed the wrong way. Check Sump's December 2015 main news page for more on this.
