Moto Guzzi V7II Stornello Scrambler

We ought to say in full: "Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello". That's a better key phrase for Google purposes. But it wouldn't fit the available space above, so we got what we got.

That aside, this is a new scrambler style bike anxious to cash-in on the current street-bike-masquerading-as-a-dirt-machine fad.

Essentially it's a 744cc V7 with a 2-into-1 Arrow exhaust system, a bright red chassis, a marginally lowered saddle, wide 'bars, and dual purpose tyres (which means they're only half as good as they might be on either terrain).

Aluminium has been used for the mudguards and foot pegs and anywhere else it's considered appropriate. Three (arguably pretentious) number boards are included. The bhp is around 47. The gears number six. The weight is claimed to be just over 400lbs (186kgs). And ABS and traction control are standard.

We think it looks pretty good and can see a market for it. But probably only for die-hard Guzzi riders. Hard to see this one converting too many waverers. Meanwhile, we hear that this bike will be produced as a limited edition model of 1,000 units. Take a closer look at the new 2016 Moto Guzzi V7II Stornello Scrambler.
