Street Triple Rx Black4th January 2016 Triumph Motorcycles | Daytona 675cc | £8,599 ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY►
Yes, it's another special edition motorcycle from Triumph. And why the hell not? Everyone else is at it, and if you don't keep raising the stakes, you're out of the game. This bike's a new twist on the 675cc, 12-valve, 104hp Street Triple Rx. Triumph calls it the Rx Black. But it ought to be called the Rx Black-with-a-bit-of-girlie-pink-thrown in. Not that we've got anything against pink, and we've certainly not got anything against girls (neither the pink ones or the black ones). Basically, this motorcycle is the standard Rx, mechanically speaking. But Hinckley Triumph pushed the boat out by transplanting a tail unit from the Daytona 675 (well, you've got use up your stock, haven't you?), and then they screwed on a belly pan and a seat cowl. The first bikes should be in the shops any time this month (which is January 2016 in case you haven't yet sobered up after Christmas).
If you haven't tried the Rx Street Triple, prepare yourself for a pleasant surprise. With its 41mm KYB inverted front fork, aluminium twin-spar frame, six-speed gearbox, and superlative handling, you're an instant hooligan, whatever age you happen to be. Triumph is offering a two year warranty, with 6000 mile service intervals, or once a year. And the price? £8,599. ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY► | MOTORCYCLE NEWS - LATEST!!
