Brough SS100 delivery14th November 2015 Kempton Park | Autojumble | Brough Superior ◄PREVIOUS STORY NEXT STORY►
In case you thought Mark Upham's revitalised Brough Superior project has stalled, it seems that it hasn't. The keys to the first bike are to be handed over during a wine and canapés ceremony in London on 3rd December 2015. The buyer is Eric Patterson; the same Eric Patterson who owns and runs Kempton Park Autojumble and who has in recent years become an inveterate record-breaker at Bonneville Salt Flats piloting his Norton-Jap and Viscount racers.
If you want to take a close up look at the new SS100, nip along to Eric's Southern Classic Off Road Show at Kempton Park on 5th December 2015. Adult ticket prices are £6.00 each. The Brough will be running and showing the world exactly what it's made of. The big question is whether Mark Upham can keep on delivering these bikes to all the people who have ordered them (or have at least expressed an interest), or whether the project will fizzle out. Upham has always been very bullish and has expressed plans to take the marque even further. Certainly, to get this far is indicative of a huge amount of faith, determination, patience and resourcefulness. But it's a fickle market out there...
