Oberon Performance is based in Havant, Hampshire. The company was founded in 1987. The business was originally aimed at the marine industry and focussed on hose fittings. Later, the biking directors, frustrated with various aftermarket motorcycle products, developed a range of their own which they sold under the OEM brand.

Today, Oberon's range includes handlebar levers, clutch slave cylinders, footpegs, headlights, mirrors, bar end weights (etc) all CNC machined from billet-aluminium. Oberon manufactures parts for Aprilia, BMW, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Kawasaki, Moto Morini, KTM, and many other marques. The company motto is "Creative precision".

Oberon has stockists in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, the USA, and right here in the UK. The firm welcomes feedback on its products, and no doubt would be very interested to hear about new ideas.

We've got little direct experience or knowledge of Oberon. But we've certainly not heard anything against the company. And if we had any doubts, we wouldn't feature it here. Ditto for all other businesses on Sump.

The billet headlights are sold as a pair and retail for £349.99. Each main beams projects via a 12v 55w H4 Halogen bulb with 4-1/4" diameter reflector. Standard side lights are fitted. The wiring can be tailored to suit your application. The lenses can be fitted at 90-degree intervals, and the lights are E4 marked. The finish is black anodized, and is also available in silver.

The fork leg brackets are tailored to suit 38mm - 56mm stanchions. The weight of a complete headlight unit and bracket assembly is 790g.

The dimensions of each headlight unit are 110mm x 107mm (lens 91mm). The length of the mounting brackets is 143mm (total).
