Street Twin - 2016 prices

Specifically, we're talking about the new 900cc Street Twin, the 1200cc T120 Bonneville, and the 1200cc T120 Bonneville Black. The Street Twin will cost from £7,300. The two T120s will each cost from £9,000. There are no prices yet for the 1200cc Thruxton or the 1200cc Thruxton R.

Triumph will be fielding 150 bolt-on goodies and accessories for its 5-strong range of Bonnies headed our way sometime in the new year. But note that a motorcycle dealer we recently spoke to suggested that we wouldn't see a Street Twin this side of April 2016. However, Triumph Dealer Jack Lilley disagrees and reckons the 900cc Street Twin demonstrators will be up and running in January 2016, with the first Street Twins available for sale in January/February 2016. Jack Lilley also reckons that the 1200cc bikes will arrive in March/April 2016.

As attractive and as feature laden these new motorcycles are, we're vaguely wondering if Hinckley needs to get a move on with these machines. There are, after all, some great rival bikes coming onto the market place, and one or two at devastatingly good prices (check the Harley-Davidson Street 750 at £5,795).

Then again, many of the rival manufacturers will also be struggling to fulfil orders after all the hype that's being dumped on us.
