Venhill Engineering has been in business for over 45 years. When it comes to motorcycle control cables and brake hoses, there probably isn't much that Venhill doesn't know. But that doesn't mean they've become lazy and complacent. Far from it. The firm is adding new products to their range, and Venhill tests their merchandise to destruction so that you don't have to. Friends of ours? Not particularly. We know the firm and have visited their 20-strong factory in Dorking, Surrey. But that's as far as it goes. However, this is a British firm that's managing to keep a small workforce employed in a market flooded with inferior products at lower prices.

Not everything sold by Venhill is made by the firm. But the cables and hoses are engineered in-house, and it's an impressive workshop.

Universal cable kits, cable repair kits, braided hosing kits, clutch-cable-to-hydraulic kits, or quick-release couplings, Venhill can handle it all. You can choose your fittings, upgrade your braking lines, or maybe have something a little more special engineered for that custom project.

The company maintains close associations with motorcycle sportsmen and will drop a few leading names if and when you ask them.

If you're in the motorcycle trade and are interested in becoming a distributor, you know what to do next.

But if you're just an ordinary rider, like anyone here at Sump, you can buy Venhill products with confidence. Forget the cheap rubbish on eBay. There's a good chance that that will hurt you, or someone else, sooner or later. Just talk to Venhill for British made cables and hoses.
