Denny's diners
We ate at Denny's most of the time, and it didn't kill us. Actually, the food wasn't too bad. But if you're vegetarian, your choice will be very limited. Denny's was founded in 1953. It sprung out of Danny's Donuts (fact fiends). Today there are around 1,600 Denny's diners across the USA. Table service. Usually clean rest rooms. Reasonable prices. And easy parking. But the diners are franchised, so there are good Denny's, and there are some that are not so good. The Americans ain't very big on vegetables, but you can get some broccoli in an omelette or something. Is broccoli important to you? No? Well it might be by the time you've travelled Route 66.
